  Coast Guard Academy members of the class of 1953 in the northwest gathered for the weekend in Seattle to host Dan and Sue Briganti who were returning from an Alaska cruise. A Saturday barbeque was enjoyed at Kirk and Jackie's, and Sunday morning brunch was at the Marriot hotel. Attending were Ed and Joyce Nelson, George and Barbara Everett, Bud Mathieu, Dick Donnelly and his friend (and future wife) Meris Hatfield and Kirk and Jackie Greiner.
