1)      University of Alaska – Technical Support Engineer NASA Satellite Tracking  Facility, Fairbanks, Alaska

2)      Bendix Field Engineering - Telemetry Systems Engineer, NASA Space Tracking & Data Acquisition Facility, Tananarive, Madagascar

3)      Caltech Jet Propulsion Lab: Various positions designing and operating various planetary spacecraft (Primarily Mars, Jupiter, Saturn) – retired after 25 years.

4)      Carnegie Mellon University Soft ware Engineering Institute – 12 years as a  Senior Member of the Technical Staff consulting with clients on implementing process improvement and providing related training plus courses related to Product Development Capability Maturity Models – currently continuing work there as a Visiting Scientist on a part time basis.

While in Alaska, I spent about 6 years in the Alaska Army National Guard and was the CO of the 216^th Transportation Company for the last several years of that time.

Married with 2 adult sons from a previous marriage (Kevin & Keith) and 2 adult step children from  my current marriage (Alex and Juli)

Three grandchildren by Kevin & Keith, one granddaughter by Alex. Wife’s name is Elisabeth. She is very active in the community and is the current president of the Edmonds Floretum Garden Club.
