BILL MORAN THIS IS YOUR LIFE
Bill was born Nov. 7, 1936, no, that's Rod Norman, who is a Rotary buddy. I know Bill was born Nov. 7, 1945, NO, that's Don Hayes a neighbor of 32 years. Nov 7, 1950, no that's Vickie Rensink, a dance club friend. I'll get it right, William Thomas Moran was born Nov. 7, 1926, in Horse Cave, Ky. He tells everyone it's close to Mammouth Cave the 7th wonder of the world, where all the underground caves are. Bill was the 8th wonder of the world. Bill was the 3rd child of Harry, Sr. and Lottie Moran. Bill's brother is 10 years older and his sister was 13 years older than Bill, so you see why he is so spoiled, he is like an only child. Bill would go on dates with Harry and sit between Harry and his date so he could shift gears.
Bill grew up in Horse Cave, went to school there, and considered himself a city boy. He could walk home for lunch. He was president of his high school class. When Bill graduated from high school he was drafted and wound up in Casablanca. Because he could type he sat out WWII in an office typing and flirting with the girls in Casablanca.

In June 1979 she surprised Dad by showing up in Ky. to visit him and Grandma Miller. They had an earthquake in Mexico and we didn't hear from Patty for 20 years. Suddenly five years ago the phone rang and who should be on the other end but Patty. She and Gumaro her husband visited us for three days, and each year since the bad penny returned. Bill would introduced her to friends as his Rotary daughter and she gave him to understand that she was not his Rotary daughter but his daughter. So now we have a daughter. When she was told Dellazine was going to have a birthday party for him she said she would surprise him again she would come home.
